my dog is really skinny, he has always been fed a premium veterinary diet for active dogs so its higher in protein and fat which i have been recently mixing with an all natural pet mince and veg food from a local dog food store but he is still skinny. He has food available all the time but just doesnt eat alot, never really has. He is young and healthy so no underlying health conditions he just doesnt eat very much. any suggestions what i could feed him to help bulken him up a bit?

Is there a reason you need to bulk him up? A dog doesn't need fat to be healthy and if you're feeding him a quality food he isn't getting all the extra (and useless) fat and cereal calories. Ask your vet to be sure but as long as it has good muscle tone and flesh covering to the bones you should be good. Certain breeds also are leaner than others. As long as he is healthy and your vet confirms this...don't worry about it :)
